Introducing Our Talented Friend!

A Piece of Cake Events is proud to introduce you to Lacaisa, our favorite make-up artist.

Lacaisa is in town for the summer taking a break from the Hollywood scene where she has done make up for television, commercials, and movies; working on both actors and actresses as well as brides from all over the country.

We feel her work is stunning, and while she’s in town she is available to do bridal make-up (and any other kind) as well as beauty consultations.

To contact Lacaisa, call her at (404) 934-4576 or visit her website www.lacaisajene.com to check out her amazing portfolio. I’ve included one photo of her work here in my post, and believe me when I tell you she is capable of making any make-up wish come true.

Give her a call today!

A Complete Production

Bertina and Alex’s wedding was planned by A Piece of Cake Events from the very beginning of their engagement down to the details in our hand-tied bridesmaid’s bouquets (which were a lot of fun to put together) Although we started planning for this wedding at the end of March, everything turned out so perfectly that it seemed like we had been planning for over a year. The wedding was amazing: the décor was beautiful and sweet, the groom was charming, the bride gleamed with joy, and the guests were awe-struck by the banquet hall where we held the reception.

The ceremony was at Pacific Christian Center, and was delicately decorated in red, black, and white. While I was setting up there, Kim learned how to tie chair sashes at the reception center near Chamber Bay—not an easy task, but well worth it; sometimes chair covers with their sashes make the biggest difference between an ordinary reception and an extraordinary one.

Although the day started out dreary and overcast by the time we reached the reception hall the sun was peaking out from behind the clouds and illuminating the backdrop of the mountains and Puget Sound. We could not have asked for better weather.

I’ve included pictures so you can see how a complete coordination of the wedding production from A Piece of Cake Events can look—but really, you would just have to ask the bride and groom, or one of the guests, to be told that it was a magnificent day and one to remember.
